founded in 1998-CROSSROADS COUNSELING CENTERS
In 1998, Doug Samsel and I built a premier, new-fangled counseling center that came alongside the church in St. Louis. It was called CrossRoads Counseling Center. They are my friends and neighbors to this day--next door neighbors I should say. Their front door is six feet from mine.
Founded in 2010- Mission to Family
In 2008 I began working with missionary families overseas (Greece, Chile, Ethiopia, S. Sudan, Spain) and in 2010 asked CrossRoads Counseling to begin Mission To Family, a project that could help fund other therapists to do the same. Nearly a dozen therapists are now involved in counseling God's workers overseas, often for free.
FOUNDED IN 2014-INTERCONNECTED
In 2014, three colleagues and I started a professional small group project called Interconnected. Forty-five men are currently involved in five groups. We believe fifteen groups will be operating in St. Louis later this year. When we reach fifty groups in STL we'll move to the next city. We're praying to start a movement.
